Violet Elliott, 91

Violet Dale Elliott, age 91, of Brady, Txas passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in San Angelo. Violet was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Brady, to Conrad and Mami (Hansen) Carlson. She grew up in Brady and graduated from Brady High School.

She married Tarleton Lavern “T.L.” Elliott. She enjoyed reading the bible and watching daytime soap operas with her daughter, Sabrina. She was a devoted mother. She was a member of the Gateway Church in Brady. She was a lifelong resident of Brady.

Funeral services for Violet Elliott will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. The family received friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Friends may view and/or sign Violet’s online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com. Pallbearers were Travis Elliott, Carlton Elliott, Nazareth White and Sylvester Roberts.

Violet Elliott is survived by her son, Randy Elliott of Brady; daughter, Sabrina Elliott of Brady; sister of Lavern Fair of Pasadena; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, “T.L.”; son, Roger Elliott; daughter, Sunnia Dawn Elliott; brother, Marvin Carlson; and sisters, Pauline Roberts, June Gray and Beatrice Lindgren.
