By Larry Smith The Brady Bulldogs wasted no time in trouncing the Sonora Broncos on the road Tuesday night, winning 66-34. “It was a great road win for us,” Brady coach Gary Jones said. The Dogs are now 21-6 overall and 7-1 in district. “We did an excellent job, coming into a hostile environment and getting a big lead early,” Jones said. “We are looking forward to a very good and state-ranked Comfort coming to Brady Friday (tonight), and playing for a share of the district title with one game remaining,” he said. Comfort is undefeated in District 8-2A. The Bobcats beat Brady in their first game in January at home, 37-29. Against Sonora, the Doggies jumped out to a commanding lead. It was 25-10 after the first quarter. The Dogs stretched that to 47-23 at halftime. They cruised in the second half. Zach Jones led Brady in scoring with 15 points. Jon Langseth had 14, and Tyler Campbell had 11. Jones also led the team in three-pointers with two. Campbell had one.
