The Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce is asking the local community to join them in celebrating another “magical year in the ‘true’ Heart of Texas” as they host their annual banquet Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Ed Davenport Civic Center. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a silent auction, beverages and appetizers, followed by a meal, award presentations and introduction of new board members. All members and non-members are invited to attend. Tickets are now on sale at the Chamber office, and there is an early bird special for those tickets purchased before Friday, Feb. 1. Individual tickets for members are $18. “If you wish to purchase a table it is $200 and will seat 10,” said Community Development Director Wendy Ellis. “When an entire table is purchased, guests seated at those tables will receive a special memento from the evening’s activities. “For non-members, the individual ticket price is $25 and table price is $250. After Feb. 1, individual member ticket price is $25 and table price is $225. For non-members, ticket price is $30 and table price is $275.” Available tables for purchase are limited to 20, but will receive preferred seating, name recognition and other perks. “It is suggested to get your tickets early because seating is limited,” added Mrs. Ellis. Attractions throughout the state have again supported McCulloch County by donating special gifts for the silent auction and raffle. “There are some great prizes up for grabs such as Texas Motor Speedway tickets, two round trip airfare tickets from Southwest Airlines and overnight hotel stays in Corpus Christi and Abilene. This year, our Annual Chamber Banquet will celebrate that spirit which embodies McCulloch County and creates some enchanting results. We hope you will join us as friends and neighbors in celebrating all that has happened and welcoming our new Chamber Board Members to get their year started in a magical way!’ For ticket information contact the Chamber office at 597-3491 or stop by at 101 E.
