Lloyd Terral Parker, 76, of Pontotoc, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, in Pontotoc. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapel in Brady with Rev. Richard Vandeventer officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Family visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Lampasas, to Arthur and Florence (Wallace) Parker. He was a resident of the area most of his life, having been a ranch hand, landscaper, heavy- equipment operator and a pipe fitter and operator of gas stations in San Antonio. He served in the National Guard and was a Christian. Survivors include his companion of 14 years, Billie Kennedy; four sons, Lloyd Allen Parker and wife, Tonya, of Hobbs, N.M., Harley Lee Parker and wife, Terry, of Hunt, Terry Dean Parker and wife, Lolly, of Ingram and Timmy Rene Parker of Dallas; three daughters, Kathy Ann Preece of Brady, Molina Louise Parker of Ingram and Kimberly Diana Leistikow of Uvalde; a sister, Nellie Oates of Seguin; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Perry Dale Parker and brothers, Billy, Harold, Wilbur and Jack. Pallbearers will be Billy Roberts, Willy Williams, Leon Williams, Josh Compton, Casey Kennedy and Bob Rush. Memorial contributions may be made to Llano Memorial Hospice or Marble Falls Dialysis.
