Nita Feazelle, 87, of Brady, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, in Brady. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Brady with Rev. Sheldon Johnson and Rev. Gary Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery. She was born May 6, 1920, in Crosbyton, to Charles Orwin and Minnie Ora (Edmondson) Roy. She married James Feazelle Feb. 22, 1940, in Lubbock. She moved to Brady in 1957 and attended business college in Lubbock. She was the county school secretary, chamber of commerce secretary and church secretary. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, church choir, Emmaus Community, Lydia Circle and United Methodist Women. She was past president of the United Methodist Women and recipient of the Lifetime Service Award from the United Methodist Women. She is survived by a son, James Paul Feazelle and wife, Debbie, of LaPorte; a daughter, Karen Andrews and husband, Jack, of Brady; a brother, Neale Roy and wife, Jo, of Lamesa; two grandchildren, Kristin Brown and Jim Feazelle of Brady; two nephews; a niece and a special caregiver, Cynthia Forbes of Brady. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Glen Charles Roy. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the F.M. (Buck) Richards Memorial Library.
