Chamber of Commerce seeks board nominations

The Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce is seeking new board members. The Chamber is a non-profit, membership based organization designed to help grow and maintain a healthy economy for our business members and promote McCulloch County for a great quality of life. The Chamber board meets once a month and is made up of 18 members. Board members must be members of the Chamber or employed by a member of the Chamber and able to commit to a three-year term. However, according to Chamber representative Christi Mays, there may be some cases in which a person is asked to fulfill a remaining term, which may be shorter than three years. If interested, please contact the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce at 325-597-3491 to request an application. Nominees will be accepted through Friday, Jan. 4, and at that time, the nominating committee will review the applications and make recommendations to the board of directors. The board will vote at their January meeting, and all decisions are final. “If you have questions or need more information, don’t hesitate to call,” added Mrs. Mays.
