The Brady JV girls traveled to Glen Rose Tuesday and took on the home team, but couldn’t post the score needed for a win as they fell to the home team, 41-21. Playing a close game in the first half, the second half was plagued by turnovers and missed scoring opportunities. “We obviously had a hard time scoring, but I thought we played hard in the fist half,” said coach Leslie Jones. “We didn’t come out and continue to play hard the second half though. We had too many turnovers and missed opportunities to score. We only shot 39 percent from the freethrow line which continues to be a problem. “Our biggest challenge is keeping the ball in our hands and out of the opponent’s hands. The girls are committed to working hard to overcome that and I believe we will improve in all areas of the game.” Score by quarters Brady 6 6 1 8’21 G.
