Brady was represented well Saturday when the third and fourth grade football team made a repeat appearance in the Texas Youth Football League Superbowl Championship played at Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood and walked off the field victorious. In their second final-round appearance in two years, this year’s team pulled off an upset over the hometown favorites, the Brownwood White Lions. Again, the third and fourth grade Brady Dawgs went undefeated all season long, and only allowed three touchdowns overall in both regular season and playoff competition. Last year’s team also boasted an undefeated regular season record but suffered a close 12-7 loss to the same defenders, the Brownwood White Lions.
