Larry Nelson Stewart, 59, of San Antonio, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 29 at Porter Loring North Chapel with Rev. Richard Grant officiating. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery. He was born Aug. 16, 1948, in Brady to Vernon and Ardis Stewart. He served in the U.S. Army during the VietNam war. He is survived by his wife, Linda of San Antonio; his mother, Ardis Stewart of Brady; two sisters, Judith Hawkins and husband, Don, of Springfield, Mo., and Janice Crawford and husband, Richard, of Brady; a brother, Clayton Stewart and wife, Pat, of Bryan; four sons, T.J. Stewart and wife, Wendy, of San Angelo, Dustin Stewart and Lane Stewart, both of San Antonio, and Jamey Kitchens of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Brandi Whitaker and husband, Jeff, of Junction and Jalyn Ogle of San Antonio; grandchildren, Kayla Whitaker of Junction, Blake, Rowde and Duncan Stewart of San Angelo, Faith Leon of San Antonio, Brandon and Madison Pansarella of Spicewood and Taylor Horne of San Antonio and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Mark Hawkins. Pallbearers were Don McWright, Johnny Shelton, Jeff Whitaker, Mark Franklin, Philip Horne, Richard Crawford and Johnny Stead.
