Dear Editor: For a number of years I have taken my morning walk at Rest Haven Cemetery. I have been embarrassed by its overgrown condition. I am certain that when families came to see their loved one put away, they were disappointed to see where they had to leave them. This past Thursday I was pleased to see several city mower and weed eater operators working there. They did an excellent job, and the place looks great. We all know that with all the good rain we have had this year, it hasn’t been easy for the city crews to keep up with everything, but I would hope that our cemeteries can remain a high priority in their maintenance schedule.
