The Brady JV played Blanco in Bulldog Stadium on Thursday and walked away with a 34-6 victory. In the first quarter Blanco scored and failed to pick up the two-point conversion. Brady followed suit with a solid drive and a touchdown on a one-yard run from Jose Ramirez but the two-point conversion failed. In the second quarter, Ramirez scored again on a four-yard run and this time, the team picked up the two-point conversion. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs scored on a 20- yard TD pass from Greg Torres to Zach Jones with a failed two-point conversion. Ramirez also had a 20-yard run with Zach Conrad picking up the extra two points. Conrad finished up the scoring with a 72-yard interception return, the extra two-points were no good. “Toby Sanchez and Zach Conrad both had interceptions, Seth Bozeman caused a Panther fumble and Zach Jones and Tyler Remini both had fumble recoveries which helped keep us in the position to win,” said Coach Larry Hoelscher.
