Senior Rush Night scheduled, gold cards, drawing tickets sold

McCulloch County Project Graduation will kick off its fall fundraiser Tuesday, Oct. 2, with its annual Senior Rush Night. On Tuesday, from 6:30 -7:30 p.m., seniors will be treated to a pizza dinner and given their gold card packets to sell from 7-9 p.m. that same evening. The gold cards are $10 each and offer discounts at many McCulloch County businesses with all proceeds benefiting McCulloch County Project Graduation. Seniors will also be selling prize drawing tickets for $5 each or five for $20. Prizes that could be won include a $500 gift certificate from Evridge’s, a $500 deer feeder donated by Texas Wildlife Supply, an Ipod Nano video from Circuit City in San Angelo and a two-night stay at any Radisson Hotel (nationwide). The prize drawing will be Dec. 18 on the KNEL radio morning show. The class of 2008 greatly appreciates the businesses who contributed to the gold card and the raffle items, as well as those who will purchase them. Anyone wishing to help assemble the packets for rush night are welcome to join the volunteer group that will meet Sunday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. at the Brady Housing Authority meeting room.
