Brady Bulldogs hope to get second victory at Ingram Tom Moore

The Brady Bulldogs, fresh off getting their first victory of the 2007 season, will be in Ingram to take on the Tom Moore Warriors Friday (tonight). Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Warriors are winless so far this season at 0-3. Brady coach Glen Jones said that they play much better when they are at home. “It’s homecoming for them,” he said. “And we’ll get their best effort.” Brady beat Ingram last season, and it was the Dogs only win. Bubba Walters is Ingram’s coach, and he has seven offensive and six defensive returnees from last year’s team that went 0-10 in 2006. Linebacker Justin Martinez (5-10, 205) is Ingram’s best player, according to Walters. Martinez was all- district last year in District 3A-25. The Warriors’ quarterback is Wade King, who also was a all-district punter last season. The Bulldogs hope to win their second consecutive game for the first time since 2005.
