The men’s group of the First United Methodist Church is sponsoring a benefit fish fry on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 11:30-1 p.m. at the FUMC fellowship hall to help raise money for the local Casa Care after school program. The meal is by donation only and all proceeds will go to help the children of Casa Care, a nonprofit after school program now in its tenth year serving the Brady community.’ Takeout plates will be available and the general public is invited to attend and help support Casa Care. The Methodist Men are cooking the fish, hush puppies and french fries and the salad, beans and desserts will be provided by Casa Care supporters. The First United Methodist Church is located at the intersection of Third and Blackburn in Brady. The fellowship hall is located on Third Street.
