Owen Clyde Hyatt, 90, of Round Mountain, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, in Llano. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 8 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel in Llano with burial in the Llano City Cemetery. He was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Johnson City, to Edward and Alice Clyde (McNat) Hyatt. He and Alberta Ebeling were married Nov. 30, 1941, in Round Mountain. After 44 years of marriage, she preceded him in death. He was a longtime resident of Round Mountain, was a self-employed rancher and a member of Walnut Methodist Church in Round Mountain. He is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Reagor and husband, John, of Round Mountain and Sally Dalchau and husband, Chuck, of Brady; two sisters, Doris Glover of Gonzales and Annie Dee Ebeling of Round Mountain; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorean Schneider Hyatt, his parents and a brother, Rankin. Pallbearers were Hatch Smith, Benno Eckert, Fuzzy Reagor, Jerry Butler, Gary Larremore, Lee Duncan, Darrell Templeton and Kirby Hohenberger. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Methodist Church in Round Mountain or to the Hill Country Livestock Raisers Association.
