James Edward Jackson, 75, of Houston, formerly of Brady was born July 2, 1932 and died Aug. 3, 2007. His funeral was held Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home. He served the Lord Jesus Christ as the foundation of his family and as an Elder that was devoted to his church family. He married Floy Annette Marshall on Nov. 27, 1952 in Brady. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Jackson and Nancy L. Williams Jackson; a sister, Jewel Turner, three brothers-in-law, William Galaway, Raymond Murray and Folbert Turner. He is survived by his wife and children, Patricia Gayle Reinoehl and husband, Roger, Kathryn Sue Jackson, Debra Jean Baucom and husband David, Cynthia Ann Rutledge and husband, David ,and Jeffrey Eugene Jackson and wife, Ada; grandchildren, Joshua Berlin and wife, Janet, Hannah, Lizabeth and Daniel Reinoehl, Justin Berger, Joel Jackson, Stephanie McGee and husband, Ray, and Mathew Baucom; great grandchildren, Emily Berlin and Sarah Kelly; three sisters, Pauline Galaway, Thelma Murray, Novella and H.D. Roberts; one brother, Don R. and wife, Louise, Jackson ; and a number of nieces and nephews. James enjoyed western movies and books. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was looking forward to the arrival of another Jackson grandson in September.
