Michael Howard Kilmer II, 26, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in Big Spring. Graveside services were held Friday, July 13, at Rest Haven Cemetery, under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, with Jim Ravanelli officiating. He was born Nov. 19, 1980, in San Angelo, to Michael Howard I and Cynthia Jan (Fowler) Kilmer. He was a roughneck in the oil field. He loved the outdoors, fishing, the beach and anything with water and being with his family. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Jerry Cox of Hilltop Lakes; his father, Michael Kilmer I, of Kingsland; paternal grandparents, Margie and Bill Curry of Kingsland; maternal grandmother, Thelma Fowler of Abilene; paternal stepgrandmother, Phyllis Kilmer of Hutto, formerly of Brady; four sisters, two brothers and a very loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Egan Fowler and Sherrod Kilmer. Memorial donations may be made to the Serenity House of Abilene.
