BMS group tours Washington, DC

A group of 38 Brady Middle School seventh and eighth studentss, along with nine school sponsors and parents, went to Washington DC the day after school was out for a four-day whirlwind tour of the nation’s capital. The students participated in various fundraisers to help their parents finance this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The trip was available through World Strides Tours to all interested seventh and eighth grade students. The next Washington DC tour is scheduled for the spring of 2009, and more information for that trip will be available as the time nears. “The town of Brady should be very proud of our students. They received many compliments from strangers in restaurants, airports, on airplanes and at tour sites on how well-behaved and mannerly they acted,” said Brady Elementary School Assistant Principal Angela Bierman. “This would not be possible without the many great families we have here in Brady.”
