Betty Jo Holloway Worthington, 75, of Brady, died Friday, July 6, 2007, in Brady. Service was held Tuesday, July 10 at 10 a.m. in Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. Burial followed in Voca Cemetery in Voca. She was born Feb. 1 1932, in Voca, to John Holloway and Grace (Ogle) Holloway. She lived in Fort Worth for 43 years before returning to Brady in 1999. She was a member of the Church of Christ and managed the Caravan Best Western Motel and the Kings Inn Motel in Arlington for many years. Survivors include a son, John Nix and wife, Patty, of Brady; a daughter, Penny Campodonico and husband, Pat, of Arlington; grandchildren, Jennifer Mohundro, of Brady, Ashley Nix of Fort Worth, Brian Nix of San Diego, Patrick and Jakob Campodonico of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Dylan Patterson, Haven Sisk, Reagan Sisk, Adam Mohundro, Jayd and Jaiden Campodonico; a sister-in-law, Susie Holloway of Brady and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Paula Jo Nix and brother, John O. Holloway.
