The Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 81st Annual July Jubilee in downtown Brady. This event is made up of a lot of different activities such as a carnival, washer pitching tournament, mud volleyball, watermelon social, fireworks, parade, ranch rodeo and dance, but there is a special element that brings it all together, our arts and crafts fair around the courthouse square. At this time, the Chamber of Commerce is inviting all vendors to sign up for this great family event and inviting shoppers to start their Christmas shopping early and find fantastic ‘independence’ deals. On Saturday, July 7, vendors may set up around the courthouse lawn from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and always has a big crowd. Floats line up at Richards Park and proceed to the downtown square. This is where the majority of the crowd settles. The First United Methodist Church serves a barbecue lunch at noon that keeps everyone satisfied. Later in the day, after vending closes, the ranch rodeo and dance will take place at the G. Rollie White Complex. Folks will have time to kill before heading to the rodeo and dance, and with the downtown square being the main hot spot for the 81st Annual July Jubilee, it is a great opportunity for vendors to showcase their products. Again, vendor set up is at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 7, and tear down is 3 p.m. Saturday. The booth is a 10×10 open air booth and is $40 without electricity and $50 with electricity. No food concession items will be allowed. Pick up applications at the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce office at 101 East First St. Checks, Visa or Mastercard will be accepted.
