Brady Middle School golf gets tourney results

Due to inclement weather on Wednesday, May 9, Brady Middle School golfers were pulled off the Llano golf course with only one hole left. As a result, the nine hole tournament turned into an eight hole bid for the prize. Chaney McBee shot 41 to take first place medalist and Crockett Jurrius shot 44 to take the sixth place medalist. Playing with McBee and Jurrius were Richard Roper who shot 48, David Hernandez who shot 49 and Dylan Webb who shot 58. Their team total of 182 was good enough for 3rd place. The team from Wimberley took first place and Llano took second. Brady’s ‘B’ team shot a team total of 242 to finish eighth out of 11 teams. Jayten May shot 52, Tanner McBee shot 56, Cody Sellers shot 66, Ravi Karia shot 68 and Alvin Cole shot 70. Playing as medalist, Dalton Smart shot 68 and J.J. Camarillo shot 73. The Brady’s girls’ team shot a team total of 231 taking the first place honors. Yolanda Quintero shot 55 to take fourth place medalist, Marissa Paramo shot 57 to take fifth place medalist, Kinsey Childs shot 59 to take eighth place medalist, Meagan Sayles shot 60 to take tenth place medalist and Christine Fairchild shot 65. “I want to apologize for taking so long with the results from the tournament,” said coach Richard Roper. “Due to the bad weather, they took all scorecards and waited until a later date to figure who won what.’Thanks for being patient. ‘ ‘This concludes our middle school golf season.”
