Casa Care Director’s Report

On behalf of the Casa Care children and teachers I would like to say “thank you” to those individuals and organizations for their donations to the Casa Care after school outreach program. We are currently in need of small paper or plastic cups, napkins, paper towels, graham crackers, pretzels, animal crackers, raisins and a water fountain. My door is always open, so feel free to contact me with questions or concerns you may have for the children of Casa Care. We can work together to brighten the lives of these children. For those of you unfamiliar with the program, Casa Care is an after school outreach program providing a safe, inexpensive alternative to children staying home alone after school until the parents can return home from work. We provide a healthy snack, homework assistance, tutoring when needed, plenty of activities and adult supervision. Though many think the program is limited to low income applicants, the Casa Care fees are based on each family’s income. Our calendar year runs with the Brady ISD schedule. Casa Care is also a child care services vendor, so anyone requiring assistance with fees can get them for Casa Care services. I hope that this answers some questions regarding the program,. Feel free to contact Casa Care for more information at 597-6058. Leave your name and number if no answer. The facility is located at 1501 North Grant in Brady and is a non-profit organization.
