Basketball is still a hot topic at Lohn High School, thanks to the Lohn senior class. The class is sponsoring the annual ‘Outsiders’ basketball game Saturday, April 14 as a fundraiser for their senior trip. The seniors have paid for their travel to Disney World but are still raising funds for daily expenses with this weekend’s games and a garage sale Saturday, April 21 in Brady. In addition to games against the men’s and women’s ‘outsider’ teams, a hamburger supper will be held at 5 p.m., and other contests will be added during time outs and between games. The always popular ‘three point shootout’ and ‘free throw shootout’ will be held, along with other fun activities. The hamburger supper will include a hamburger or cheeseburger, chips, drink and homemade dessert. Lohn graduates are encouraged to play against the current varsity and junior high players. ‘Our seniors’both the boys and girls’have issued a challenge to anyone who thinks they can provide a challenge on the outsider teams,’ said Scott Pike, spokesman for the senior class.
