Johnny Dale Cochran, 57, of Odessa, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Regency Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 14 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Royall officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born Dec. 31, 1949, in Brady, to Aubrey and Roberta Katherine (Williams) Cochran. He attended high school in Eden and married Barbara Jean Hickman Sept. 30, 1967, in Eden. He worked for Champion Technologies for 35 years and was a deacon at Caprock Baptist Church. He loved sports, fishing, hunting and watching old western movies. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cochran; a son, Johnny Dale Cochran, II and wife, Denise; two daughters, Kathy Redmon and husband, Eddie, and Audra Horton and husband, Mikey, all of Odessa; his mother, Roberta Katherine Cochran of Brady; a brother, James Aubrey Cochran of Kingsland, Ga.; four sisters, Beverly Peercy of Lutz, Fla., Vickie Potter and Norma Potter, both of Brady, and Diane Hatley of San Angelo; 13 grandchildren, John, Loran, Nathaniel, Shayla, Kylena, Breanna, Troy, Edward, Beverly, Iona, Killian, Oryn and Jean; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Connie Cochran.
