David (Frog) Haney, 31, of Kerrville, died Thursday, Oct. 2, at a Kerrville hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denny Jackson and Rev. Richard Evans officiating. Burial followed in the Cavness Cemetery. Haney was born Feb. 17, 1972, in San Antonio, to Robert Lee Haney and Ruby Keith. He liked hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time with his children. He was a member of the Mason Full Gospel Church. He is survived by his mother, Kay Wagner of Kerrville; his father, Preston Wagner and companion, Cordella Rosenberg of Kerrville; his biological father, Robert Lee Haney; adopted grandmother, Faith Hudnut; daughters Atlanta Dawn Haney of Brady and Taylor Renee Haney of Kerrville; a son, Hunter Haney of Brady; a sister, Tiara Haney of Lodi, Calif; three brothers, Robert H. Haney and wife, Cathy, of Kerrville, Raymond Haney and Aron Haney, both of Lodi, Calif; a special nephew, R.J. Haney; and special nieces, Amber Nicole Haney and Britney Cheyenne Haney. He was preceded in death by his grandparnets, Linley Keith and Illa Belle Bush Keith, Major Robert H. Haney, Ret. U.S. Air Force and Glennis Haney; and an uncle, James M. Keith (Uncle Sharkey). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 720 Club of Kerrville State Hospital.
