Master Gardner classes to offer CEUs, pesticide applicator licensing

Master Gardener training classes meet from Sept. 9 through Dec. 2, and several of the classes will qualify for continuing education units for private applicator licensing. The final class on Dec. 2 will be the required training for those desiring to obtain a private applicator license, with the licensing exam to be administered immediately following the class. All classes are open to the public for a fee of $15 per class, with the exception of the Dec. 2 class which will be offered at no charge. To register for any individual session, call the Texas Cooperative Extension McCulloch County office at 597-1295 no later than the Friday preceding the class date. Payment can be made in advance at the office or at the class. If paying at the class, please come early and bring either a check payable to the McCulloch County Education Fund or the exact amount of cash. No change will be available at the class.
