Sterling Fullagar, 86, of Brady died Thursday, Sept. 11 in Brady. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 13 at Heritage Funeral Home, Dwayne Simpson officiating. Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery. He was born November 27, 1916 in Lohn to Marion Lloyd (John) and Willlie Myrtle (Huie) Fullagar. He married Gwendolyn Beakley on September 9, 1941. He was a rancher and a member of the Church of Christ. He had retired as a supervisor from the Texas Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Gwen, a son, Michael Fullager and wife, Doniene, of Brady; a daughter, Patricia Willems and husband, Fred, of College Station; a sister, Mary Lee Littlepage of Tahocah; six grandchildren, Kellly Langdon and her husband, Micah of Lake Tahoe, Nev., Brian Vawn of Tyler, Mikkie Fullagar of Finlay, Ohio and Mandie, Rygh and Mollie Fullagar of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
