The staff and student body at Brady High School are busy with homecoming week activities as daily spirit contests lead up to Friday’s homecoming festivities. Tuesday (tonight) the Ol’ Houn’ Dawgs booster club sponsored a hamburger supper that begins at 7 p.m. at Brady Middle School preceding the pep rally and lighting of the traditional bonfire. Spirit activities will continue throughout the week with Hawaiian Day on Wednesday, Dress to Impress on Thursday and Bulldog Spirit Day on Friday. The court for this year’s homecoming includes beaus Casey Long, Marcus Reed, Tommy Langseth, Carter McBee, C.J. Villegas and Cole Whisenhunt. Dutchesses for this year’s court are Tallie Wright, Stacy Lohn, Laura Capps, Chelsey Bandy, Chelsea Rutherford and Megan Griffith. The student council will host a reception honoring the homecoming court from 9-11 a.m. Thursday. The public is invited to attend. The council will also be sponsoring a class competition car decorating contest. The cars will be presented at the outdoor pep rally which will be held Friday afternoon at Bulldog Stadium. Friday night homecoming activities will feature a coming home queen in which all former female students attending the game will given the opportunity to register. The winner will be drawn at halftime just prior to naming this year’s BHS homecoming queen. Kickoff for Friday night’s game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. when the Bulldogs will host Llano in the last non-district game of the year.
