Brady boys participate in NBA Hoop It Up in Dallas

Four 13-year-old Brady boys teamed up to compete in the NBA Hoop It Up basketball tournament held this summer in Dallas. Brady’s own Brantley King, Jon Langseth, Tyler Campbell and Lonnie Williams played against teams of their peers from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and across the state. The first round bracket pitted the local team, sponsored by Brady National Bank, against three other teams in a round-robin competition. They won two games and lost one. The BNB team tied for first but were declared the winners by most points scored which advanced them to the championship bracket. In the second round of the championship bracket, the four-man team ran up against a well-practiced squad from Irving and fell, 15-8, bringing to a close their quest for the gold. The team was coached by Tracey Williams and Mack Langseth. PHOTO: HOOP IT UP STARS’These four boys recently returned from Dallas where they competed in an NBA Hoop It Up basketball tourney.
