William George (Bill) Moore, 50, of Brady, died Thursday, July 24 in Abilene. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (today) in Leatherwood Memorial Chapels, the Rev. Robert Gumbert, officiating. Born Dec. 27, 1952, in San Marcos, he was the son of Leo George and Winie Gumbert Moore. He was married to the former Carol Ann Burke. Mr. Moore was employed at Cliett Lumber Co. in Wimberley where he was manager of the lumber yard. He had lived in Brady for the past five years. He loved outdoor life including hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann; a son, Danny Duckett and his wife, Kelli, of Wimberley; a daughter, Jessica Lynn Moore of Tahoe City, Calif.; two brothers, Eddie Moore and his wife, Debbie, of Ozona, and Roy Moore of Wimberley; two sisters, Stella Norman and her husband, Glenn, and Edna Moore, both of Brady; a sister-in-law, Diane Harmon and her husband, John, of Brady; and two grandchildren, Cutter Duckett and Bryce Duckett, both of Wimberley. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were Steve Mazac, John Harmon, Kenneth Locke, Jay Rowen and Denny Hart.
