Brady PD promotes two officers

Brady Police Chief Tommy Payne recently announced the promotion of two officers within the ranks of the Brady Police Department. Sergeant Don Enix has been promoted to patrol lieutenant and officer Danny Boren has been promoted from patrolman to sergeant/investigator. Lt. Enix, an officer in Brady since 1996 is now the highest ranked patrolman on the force and among his other duties, he will be responsible for scheduling and patrol functions. Sgt. Boren will be responsible for all major investigations and follow-ups on officer investigations throughout the department. He has been with Brady PD since December 2001 and has 16 years of law enforcement experience. “We reorganized the department to have the sergeant position as the chief investigator,” said Payne. “We have recently hired two new officers and we are getting back to normal staffing levels.
