‘A Song of Silver’ production now in its 16th year in Menard

“A Song of Silver” will be presented for the 16th season June 20 and 21 in Menard. Visitors can enjoy the Jim Bowie Days Celebration by day, June 20-22, and then sit in for the magic of theatre at night as the production gets underway. A historical musical, “A Song of Silver” will begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Silver Ridge Amphitheater in Menard. “A Song of Silver” is set in a pleasant rustic canyon (seating provided) and includes thrilling horsemanship, beautiful music, weddings and waltzes, firedance and folclorico, pathos and comedy and numerous special effects. Silver Ridge Amphitheater is located a few blocks west off U.S. Hwy. 83 on 2291. Tickets are available at the gate or at the Menard Chamber of Commerce for $10 each (adults) and $5 for children (under 12).
