Mamie Angeline Preas, 83, of Brady, died Thursday, May 29 in Brady. Under the direction of Heritage Funeral Homes, a graveside service was held Monday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady, Rev. Richard Evans officiating. She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Doole, to Daniel Stanley and Edie (Long) Sellers. She married Walter (Reed) Preas Oct. 3, 1936, in Brady. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1997. She was a beautician and a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She loved animals, enjoyed working in the garden and with plants, liked driving her truck and other farm equipment and enjoyed craftwork and sewing. She is survived by two nephews, Lee Sellers of Brady and Randy Sellers of Phoenix, Ariz.; two great-nieces, Sonja Sellers of Phoenix, Ariz and Jessica Gray of Brady; a great-nephew, Lee Sellers, Jr. of Holly, Colo.; two great-great-nephews, Jordan Lee Gray and Joshua Dante Gray, both of Brady; and a great-great-niece, Macaela Angeline Gray of Brady. Her parents; a brother, Travis Sellers; and an infant daughter also preceded her in death.
