Olan B. Locker, 81, of Brady, died Wednesday, May 28, in Brady. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, The Rev. Sheldon Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Richland Springs Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home. He was born June 5, 1921, in Richland Springs, to William and Edna (Burleson) Locker. He married Kasteen Shiepel May 26, 1967, in Seminole. He was a retired cotton gin owner and a Methodist. He was a World War II veteran, 84th Infantry (Railsplitters), First Lt. Survivors include his wife, Kasteen of Brady; five sons, Kenneth Locker and wife, Pam, of Roanoke, Mickey Ray of Midland, Bill Ray and wife, JoLynn of Seminole, Gary Don Ray of Brady and Lan Locker and wife, Virnell, of Graham; a daughter, Mary Wylie of Lubbock; and a sister, Beryl Wells of Levelland. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Maynard and James D. Locker; and his first wife, Arrena.
