Juanita Ramirez Segura, 66, of Lubbock died Wednesday, May 21 at St. Patrick’s Rectory. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Bishop Placido Rodriguez officiating. Burial followed at the Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. She was born on June 26, 1936, in San Saba. She attended school in San Saba. She married Turburcio Segura. She moved to Lubbock in 1970. She was a member of the Guadalupanas and Cursillista. Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Maria Villanueva of Lubbock and Maria Hernandez of Yoakum; three sons, Gregorio Segura of Lubbock, Jesse Segura of Yoakum and Felix Segura Ramirez of Fort Worth; three sisters, Rachel Torres of Lakewood, Calif., Paz Rodriguez of Grand Prairie, Linda Castillo of Austin; four brothers, Rev. Fr. Cornello C. Ramirez, Candido Ramirez, both of Lubbock, Felix Ramirez of Brady and Johnny Ramirez of Grand Prairie; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Isabel S. Ramirez; a granddaughter, baby girl in 1979; a twin sister, Pauline Ramirez; and a brother, Julian Ramirez.
