Local music club celebrates ‘National Music Week’

The Damrosch Music Club, a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs paid tribute to “National Music Week” on Tuesday, May 6 at the Presbyterian Church, 900 South Blackburn Street in Brady. JOANNE DALGARD'”God Bless America.” The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Ruth Jordan Award’an award given to a high school senior for their contribution to music, especially being a member of the Brady High School band. This year’s award went to Russell Dean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dean.
