Brady High School’s track teams will be in separate locales this weekend. The Bulldogs will be at the annual San Angelo Relays while the Lady Bulldogs will be at the Yellowjacket Relays at Llano. Coach Doug Holtzclaw’s squad will compete against the strongest field it has seen this season. Brady will be in Division IV with the likes of Abilene Wylie, SA Central JV, Dalhart, Gatesville, Midland Greenwood, Ingram Tom Moore, Kermit, Pecos, Perryton and Sweetwater. Some of the field events will be run on Friday (today) plus nine prelims in running events. Division IV finals in field events will be in the pole vault, triple jump, high jump and shot put. Prelims will run past 8 p.m. Saturday’s events will begin at 10:15 a.m. with the 3200-meter run. The Division IV discus will start at 10:30 with running finals commencing at 12 noon with the 400-meter relay. In Llano the Lady Bulldogs’ will begin Saturday morning with the field events starting at 9 a.m. Running prelims will begin immediately after the field events are completed with the finals scheduled to start shortly after the prelims are completed.
