Lloyd Moseley, 93, of Rochelle, died Wednesday, Feb. 13 in San Angelo. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels, Rev. Sheldon Johnson officiating. A private burial followed in the Rochelle Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kyle Moseley, Tom Gehring, S.H. Gainer, Chris Gregg, Mark Moseley and Jack Shaw. Born Jan. 26, 1909 in Rochelle, he was the son of Richard Samuel Moseley and Della (McCall) Moseley. He married Margaret Baker on Aug. 27, 1936, in San Saba. He was a lifelong rancher and resident of the area. Survivors included two sons, Richard Moseley and wife, Donna, of Amarillo and John Marshall Moseley and wife, Brenda, of Topeka, Kan.; a sister, Sue Nell Mann of Coleman; four grandchildren, Deana Gehring and Alison Gregg, both of Houston, Adrianne Shaw of Fairfax, Va., and Mark Moseley of Harrisburg, Pa.; and four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Shaw, Justin Shaw, Caroline Gehring and Casey Lloyd Gregg. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers.
