Charles Samuel Elliott, 77, of Katemcy, died Saturday, Feb. 9 in Kerrville. Under the direction of Heritage Funeal Home of Brady, a private graveside service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio. Born Feb. 7, 1924 in Fredonia, he was the son of Joseph and Lora (Tuckness) Elliott. He married Irene Lukomski on Oct. 12, 1945 in Brady. He was a government contractor and a Church of Christ member. He was also a member of the DAV and a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by a son, Dennis Elliott and his wife, Karen, of Milwaukee, Wis., two brothers, Delmo Elliott and wife, Alberta, of London and Travis Lee Elliott and wife, Jody, of Snyder; three sisters, Maeola Ramsey of Brady, Juanita Goff and husband, Herbert, of Mason and Coleta Squires of Ingram; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, his wife and a son, Charles Lee Elliott, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
