Sponsored annually to promote the local hunting industry, McShan Foods recently named the winners of the 2002 Big Buck Contest. Of the 350 entries in the contest, 35 game hunters brought their bucks in to McShan’s for measurements. First place went to Dr. Chuck Priess with a 60 3/4 point buck . Second place went to Charles Weise for his 58 1/2 point buck, and third place went to Steve Morgan whose buck measured 57 3/4 points. All three trophy bucks were killed on the McShan Last Dollar Ranch in McCulloch County. Pictured are (left to right) Gary Damuth, Priess, Frank Coates and Bob McShan.
