One poor quarter meant another loss for the Brady Lady Bulldogs here Friday night when Ingram downed them, 52-36. “We played well enough to win for three quarters,” Brady coach Ted Epley said. “But the second period killed us.” The Lady Dawgs were outscored in that ill-fated quarter, 17-4, and the Lady Warriors ended with a 16-point victory margin. “Out of their 17 points in that second quarter, 10 of them came from the free throw line,” the Brady coach said. “We went cold, and they pulled away.” Tied at 7-7 after the first period, the Lady Dawgs trailed at halftime, 24-11. The rest of the way Brady played with the Ingram five, giving up only three points in the final 16 minutes. Tallie Wright led the Brady team in scoring with 14 points. The Lady Bulldogs will play their final game of the season at Wimberley Tuesday (tonight).
