The McCulloch County Helping Hands Center will once again feature its traditional Mexican dinner fund-raiser on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 906 East 11th Street in Brady. The Mexican dinner is one of the major fund-raising events sponsored annually by Helping Hands and is vital for the Center to continue with its charitable contributions. Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and deliveries within the Brady City Limits will be available by calling the Center at 597-2646. The meal will include enchiladas, beans, rice, salad, crackers, dessert and a drink. Plates are $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Musical entertainment will be provided by Louis Kimbrough, Tom Bishop and several other members of the community. Door prizes will be drawn during the meal. All proceeds will go toward center projects, and “Your support and donations will be greatly appreciated,” said Helping Hands director Dorothy Lafuente.
