Ralph J. Kuss, 82, of Brady, died Monday, Jan. 21 in Brady. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, Rev. Richard Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Born May 27, 1919 in Milwaukee, Wis., he was the son of Fredrick Kuss and Lillian Unger. He married Ethel Edson on April 10, 1943 in San Antonio. A resident of Brady since 1971, he was a mechanic, a WWII Army veteran, a Master Mason and a former member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Survivors include his daughter, Beverly Kiklowicz and her husband, Walter (Skip) of Brady; a brother, Elwood of Indiana; a sister, Lavern Dodd of Rantu, Ill.; two grandchildren, Kellie Medrano and her husband, Johnny, of Brady and Walter Kiklowicz III of Brownwood; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Medrano of Brady. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
