The slump for the Brady Lady Bulldogs continued Tuesday night in Ingram when they lost another basketball game, this one to the Tom Moore Lady Warriors, 48-34. “As it’s gone all season, we played well in some areas and poorly in others,” Brady coach Ted Epley said. “We just can’t seem to put a complete game together,” he explained. Epley said that the Lady Dawgs’ defense was “decent” but “our shots seem to rim out, and we committed too many turnovers to be good.” The Brady team took a 7-5 lead after the first quarter, but Ingram rebounded and took a 23-18 lead at halftime. Then in the third quarter, Ingram outscored the Lady Dawgs 15-7 and led 38-25 after three periods. “We’ll keep working, trying to get to that complete game level,” the coach said. Jennifer Valdez led the Brady squad in scoring with eight points. The team will host Wimberley here Friday (tonight).
