Depression can strike anyone at any age, at any time. Now, thanks to a new Brady support group, people don’t have to suffer alone. Beginning Thursday, Jan. 24, the Heritage Program for Senior Adults will offer a Depression Support Group for the local community. “This is a free discussion and education group open to anyone interested in learning more about the symptoms of depression, treating depression, etc.,” said a representative of the Heritage Program. “If you feel you need help with depression or if you want to learn more about how to deal with it, feel free to come to our support group.” Following the Jan. 24th session, the Brady Depression Support Group will meet from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. every other Thursday afternoon. Future dates are planned for Thursday, Feb. 7 and Thursday, Feb. 21. The Heritage Program is located at 2003 Nine Road, across from the Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital.
