The Brady JV boys broke open a close game in the second half to down the Grape Creek JV there last Friday, 75-46. Trailing by two after the first quarter, the Bulldogs took a 22-18 lead into the dressing room at halftime. Brady coach Larry Hoelscher’s talk at intermission did wonders as the Dogs racked up 25 points in the third quarter and added 28 in the fourth. Jeremy Shields led the Brady team in scoring with 25 points. The Dogs will host Ballinger tonight and open district here Friday against Liberty Hill.
