Berta (Stanaland) Eubank, 83, of Brady, died Friday, Jan. 4 in Brady. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Max Gordon officiating. Burial followed at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 in Big Spring Trinity Memorial Park. Born June 9, 1918 in Dalhart, she was the daughter of Archie Rosco and Alta Thea (Berlier) Hyso. She married James Eubank Dec. 29, 1992 in Big Spring. She was a teacher’s aide and a member of the Birdwell Lane Church of Christ of Big Spring for 35 years and a member of the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ of Brady. She was a member of a sewing/social club in Big Spring, she liked to travel and did various church social work. She is survived by her husband, James Eubank, of Brady; two sons, Dale Stanaland of Midland and Carl Lynn Stanaland of Dallas; a daughter, Peggy Susan Pack and husband, Johnny, of Houston; a sister, Althea Stanaland of Abilene; five grandchildren, Laurie Hall, Leslie Strickland, Brooke Pack, Lacey Pack and Chelsea Pack; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Casey Taylor, Garret Hall, Courtney Strickland and Jeremy Strickland; a great-great-grandchild, Jocelyn Taylor; two stepsons, Larry Eubank of Houston and Greg Eubank and wife, Debbie, of Houston; a stepdaughter, Marsha Eubank of Garland; four step-grandchildren, Abby, Katy, Kathryn and Sophie Eubank. Her husbands, Hamilton Buch-anan Stanaland and Edgar B. McBride preceded her in death.
