Leeta Duncan, 89, of Brady, died Thursday, Dec. 27 in San Angelo. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Billy Bush officiating. Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery. Born Dec. 27, 1912 in Eastland County, she was the daughter of Tolbert and Willie Elizabeth (Loper) Riley. She was employed as a nurse with Brady Hospital for 25 years and was a 50-year member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Roy Gene Duncan and wife, Janice, of Kountze and Lemuel Dean Duncan and wife, Sharon, of Beaumont; a daughter, Billie Myers Trigg and husband, J.W., of Brady; a sister, Mary Lee Childs of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Two sons, Tommy Neal Duncan and John Gerald Duncan, preceded her in death. Pallbearers were Barry Duncan, Don Dickerson, Michael Adams, Keith Butler, Dustin Butler and J.W. Trigg.
