Social Security launched a new website for attorneys and other representatives who provide help to people applying for Social Security benefits. The site, “Representing Clients,” can be found at www.ssa.gov/representation. “We have collected the information of critical importance to client representatives and put it all in one place,” said Fredi Franki, Social Security manager in San Angelo. “We realized that there was demand by attorneys and representatives to access this information easily. This site should help them help to their clients apply for Social Security benefits,” said Franki. The site contains information on fee agreements, fee petitions, a model fee agreement, standards of conduct and official forms as well as links to the “Social Security Handbook,” Program Operations Manual System and relevant sections of the “Code of Federal Regulations.”
