The Brady City Council will meet in regular session Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. in Council Chambers. On the agenda as action items, the Council will consider and act on electing representatives to the Tourist and Convention Bureau. Also, and as a new state requirement this year, the Council will consider approving a resolution to adopt a racial profiling policy. New ordinances on the agenda will include the first reading of an ordinance amending all ordinances designating truck routes in the City of Brady and limiting the use of residential streets for truck parking; and the first reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 567 regulating animals and fowl. On the agenda for approval on their second and third readings are: ‘ Second reading of an ordinance extending the 45 mile per hour speed zone on U.S. Hwy. 190 toward the south Brady city limits; ‘ Second reading of an ordinance to approve the cable TV franchise agreement The meeting will adjourn following Council comments and reports from the city manager and city finance officer.
